Italian by birth, yet a citizen of the world, Elisabetta Fantone is a jet-setting multi-faceted superstar poised for international esteem. In 2006 she took over Canada with her stunning beauty and undeniable acting prowess, and now, four short years later, she boasts celebrated pop-art painter and chart-topping vocalist as additions to her already impressive repertoire.
At the young age of 15, a true passion for acting lead Elisabetta to try her hand in the intimidating realm of the performing arts in her native Montreal. The natural-born star was quickly greeted with the prestigious award of Best Performance for her command of the stage in her role as Lucretia in Michael Tremblays, La Mandragore. Swiftly earning the respect and support of the Canadian acting community, Elisabetta was affirmed in her path to follow her dream and secure her place in the spotlight. In honing her craft, the actress sought out all avenues as they related to theatrical arts, the mastering of which would later prove crucial in her evolution into the true professional talent that she is today. Between dance lessons, singing practice, conquering five languages French, Italian, English, German, and Spanish- Elisabetta never allowed herself to abandon her academic education. Between classes and performances, the budding artisan forged onward through her college career enhancing her knowledge of the arts and obtaining a degree in Interior Design from LaSalle College in Montreal.
In 2006, as her acting career reached new heights, presenting countless opportunity and international acclaim, Elisabetta enthralled her fans by unveiling yet another tremendous talent. On November 26th of 2006, the thriving starlette debuted her Various Faces acrylic pop art collection with an epic launch event in Old Montreal, where she was joined by a few hundred of her closest friends including French celebrities, art enthusiasts, and fellow actors. That same year, Elisabetta joined the cast of Loft Story II, the insatiably popular docu-series of which she was quickly the break out star. It was then she decided that she would marry her two passions of painting and performing, and head to the U.S. to further both fortes. She has since expanded her effervescent compilation of abstract and pop artwork with new tribute series Blonde Icons and, most recently, her Iconic Brunettes, along with a string of commissioned pieces in both the high-end commercial and retail markets, and even the whos who among international celebrities of today.
In 2010, during the filming of Bunim-Murrays second season of Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami, the Kardashian sisters as well as E! Network commissioned Elisabetta to paint an exclusive piece of the three sisters, which now hangs in their D-A-S-H boutique located in Miami Beach, Florida. Elisabettas acting career continues to flourish with major network projects underway such as NBCs Secrets of the Mountain, her recent role as a college co-ed on Spike TVs Blue Mountain State, and the highly anticipated film My Name is Sandy, for which she was cast as the leading lady. Elisabetta plans to further inspire others with her many talents, infusing beauty and fervor into everything she sets out to accomplish.

Born in Montreal, Elisabetta attended Dawson College in Creative Arts where she experimented with colors, collages and paints. She then obtained her Interior Design degree at LaSalle College where she painted nudes, experimented with sculpture, faux-fini and found a profound passion for negative positive space.
In her early adult life Elisabettas attraction to bright colors led her to experiment with acrylic, which became her medium of choice. Its in 2006 when she finally presented her first complete acrylic on canvas collection presenting 22 portraits beautifully colored faces aptly entitled Various Faces. With their tremendous eyes and exaggerated lips, this collection of unknown faces was linked and brought to life with bright colored paint stokes that revealed nothing less then the profound beauty and sensuality of women.
Tree years later in 2009, Elisabetta presented her second art collection with a style more defined. Many compared it to the work of Andy Warhol due to the familiar celebrity subjects but Elisabettas technique set them apart. Tremendously inspired by the Pop Art of the 50s, Elisabetta painted famous blondes ranging from music stars to movie stars. A series of 30 paintings of acrylic on canvas finished with a layer of epoxy and rightfully named Blonde Icons. Elisabettas fascination with the pop culture of yesterday and today inspires her to push her art and experiment with new visual mediums.

Since my younger years, I have always been enthralled with the hope of sharing my personal outlook of the world of cinema, beauty, glamour and celebrities while dreaming of experiencing it as they do. I create work that is now motivated by my related experience of the alluring entertainment world. My paintings immortalize the preconceived expectations of beauty. My previous work dealt with the contrasting of fragility and aggression of ones constant battle with oneself and the fabricated image of splendor of a mediated world. My images are not a sincere study but more of a generalized idea.
I present suggestive images of women particularly in a sensational approach, at times in rebellious behavior and at times in fragile state. Beneath the surface of some of my colorful chaotic paintings lies an overwhelming dark subtext; the provoking practice of judging human beings by standards having no basic relation to their quality. This loss of innocence visibly demonstrates the ever-changing character of life itself. I am less attracted in reproducing an exact or realistic portrayal of a photograph but more the way mass media would perceive it.
In my latest work I was stimulated by some of the worlds greatest artists of yesterday and today. Recreating famous portraits, my images are frequently influenced by the pop culture of the 1950s. Perceived in a distinct manner by each being and possessing a powerful emotive quality, color is at the heart of my work. I choose to fill each one of my canvases with carefully orchestrated shades and tints creating images that leave a soothing sense of pleasure to the observer. It is in our capacity to distinguish and to differentiate images that allows beauty to subsist. The definition of beauty is shattered by society and is reborn in art.

My Name is Sandy is a feature length drama surrounding the world of prostitution. Written and directed by Montreal native Marco Iammatteo, My name is Sandy is inspired by a variety of interviews conducted with local sex-workers.The film stars Elisabetta Fantone as Sandy, an illegal immigrant from France who has been working Manhattans streets for three years. After a long days work, she is asked by a client if he can document her for a report hes doing on sex-workers. The tale a young womans descent and experiences in the world of prostitution are heard and seen through the reportage of her latest client, Francis.
